Golden Rules of Self Care (Part-1)

Self-care is an important tool to help you live a more positive lifestyle. Our day-to-day lives are often fueled by negativity, it’s often hard to find solitude in today’s climate. Many of us are feeling the stress , anxiety , trauma etc. It’s crucial to make sure you’re taking care of your physical and mental health. It’s so important to make sure you take good care of your body, mind, and soul every day, not just when you get sick.

Self care isn’t narrow minded or selfish , self care is important to keep your body and your soul perfectly healthy. Self care is more than dealing with your body, it’s dealing with your brain, your feelings and all aspects of yourself. Taking time to nurture yourself is critical for your well-being, and it’s hard to take care of others close to you if you do not first care for yourself. Taking care of yourself is not a sign of weakness, but a sign that you have the inner-strength to give your body what it needs to feel nourished, loved and cared for. It’s not easy to practice self care and not that difficult to do. To say in short it all begins with yourself , it is always good to show yourself some kindness.

Here are my Golden Rules of Self Care

1. Say YES to Yourself

Sometimes we may actually feel to procrastinate or just under-estimate ourselves so easily and use negative phrases inside our head and try to get it undone. Have you ever thought what might have happened if you might have Said Yes to Yourself for the things that you wished , Maybe to start sometime new or to end something amazing !!!!! To just believe in yourself and keeping moving ahead .Saying Yes to do all those little little happiness like getting wet in rain ,getting lost while spotting the night sky , watching sunset , playing with small cats\dogs ,going for a walk, watching your favorite movies or shows . At the end of the day you want to happy , so just Say Yes to Yourself to whatever you want to do even for very little ones ……

2. Give a reward

Reward yourself for everything that you do .It give you more affirmation and gives motivation to continue further more in the journey

3. Make your fitness a priority

Doing exercise can help improve your mood, give you energy, and even extend your life span .Starting the day with good exercise can make you more active through out the day. If you have never been through into a regular fitness routine then it’s never a big problem just start from scratch and follow it. Some people feel so comfortable during night and stay up (I don’t say it wrong ) but you have to follow a Sleep Cycle .It is very much important to have good sleep everyday , if you do exercise regularly to automatically tend to sleep early than other days .
